On Tuesday 3 February the whole Colony went on the Farm to Fork visit to Tesco at Elmers End. We had fun looking at the produce from around the world, had a tour of the bakery and tasted different breads, visited the cheese counter for some cheese tasting and all popped in the freezer

On Friday 14th November, 8 Beavers joined Bede Pack Cubs for a sleepover at Downe Scout Activity Centre. Great fun was had by all and we enjoyed the lovely mild November weather to make the best use of the beautiful woodland and site activities.
At Church Parade on 19th October 2014, Genny Dunbar received two very special awards from the District Team to recognise her long and dedicated service to the Group and to Scouting. She was awarded with the “Silver Acorn” along with a 25 years of service badge. R

Willow Colony worked towards the Global Challenge Badge this term by celebrating the festival of Diwali. Clay pots were made and painted,traditional food was tasted, traditions were discussed and even a bit of dancing! The evening finished with a quiet reflection.
