Leadership Fun Adventure Skills for life The event is suitable for any aspiring or current Patrol Leader or Assistant Patrol Leader. We are limited to 30 places for the entire of Croydon District, so get your bookings in quickly. Dates 09:00 Saturday 23 to 16:00 Sunday 24 February 2019 Where Bears Wood Scout Campsite, Court Wood Ln, Croydon CR0 9HJ Fee £20 per person. To be received by 5 February 2019. This is to cover the cost of the site facilities, indoor accommodation and food. Objective To help new and existing Patrol leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders develop the skills needed to lead their patrols and take an active leadership role within their troop. Note -This is not an activity weekend. It would not be appropriate to send Scouts who have previously attended. Activity Information Form Please ensure that you bring a completed Activity Information Form. Kit List Downloadable kit list. Catering A packed lunch and drink will be needed for the Saturday lunch. A hot evening meal and supper will be provided on Saturday evening. A hot cooked breakfast on Sunday morning and a cold buffet style lunch will be provided. Please advise of any special dietary requirements. Programme We intend to provide training in Scouting, leadership and organisation skills through a series of practical activities, some of which will be outdoors and some indoors. Accommodation Scouts will be sleeping indoors in the bunks.
