London SW1A 0AA
Croydon District Scouts have been very kindly been offered a guided tour of the Palace of Westminster, during Parliament Week. The Scout Section been given some tickets allocated on a first come basis.
The trip will be on Tuesday 13 November 2018, 18:00 to 21:00 and will consist of a tour of the palace that will be run by the Department of Education, followed by a Question and Answer session with possibly all three of Croydon’s MP’s.
There is no cost to get into Westminster, but the young people will need to pay for their travel.
This is partly due to Scouts from Scafell hosting a night with Sarah Jones, MP last year. Writing to her twice during the last year. Sarah has twice responded saying she would like to meet our Scouts at the Palace of. Westminster.
This will be a great opportunity for our scouts to continue the conversations about mental health awareness and environmental conservation (the two topics that our troop wrote to her about).
